About this plan
God’s mission begins long before the Great Commission. This plan traces it across a week: the promise to Abraham that all the families of the earth would be blessed, the psalms and prophets that picture the nations praising God, Jesus sending out his disciples, and the vision of a great multitude from every nation in Revelation.
Day 1 is God’s call to Abram in Genesis 12–15, and day 2 the psalms that call the nations to praise. On day 3 Isaiah speaks of a light for the nations. Matthew 9–11 shows Jesus’ compassion for the crowds and his sending of the twelve, and Matthew 24–28 ends with the command to make disciples of all nations. Day 6 reads Luke 10 and the first chapters of Acts, and the week ends with Romans 10, asking how people will hear, and Revelation 5 and 7.
It is not a manual of methods but a reminder of why, and it suits anyone who wonders what the Bible says about sharing the good news.
