About this plan
Four accounts of one life: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in thirty days, at about three chapters a day. The pace is comfortable enough for a daily habit and quick enough that the story stays in your head from one day to the next.
Matthew runs through day 10, Mark from day 10 to day 15, Luke from day 15 to day 23, and John from day 23 to day 30. Along the way you read the Sermon on the Mount on days 2 and 3, the parables of the lost sheep, coin and son in Luke 15 on day 20, and the last days of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection in John on days 29 and 30.
It starts the day you do, so there is no need to wait for the first of the month.
